Update: 5.05.2012:
SpaceX is now targeting a May 19 launch of its Dragon capsule to the International Space Station.
The company said it is completing reviews with NASA of Dragon software systems that have delayed the mission, which previously targeted launches April 30 and then May 7.
“Thus far, no issues have been uncovered during this process, but with a mission of this complexity we want to be extremely diligent,” said company spokeswoman Kirstin Grantham.
The company has submitted to the Air Force a request to launch May 19 from Launch Complex 40 at Cape Canaveral Air Force Station, with a backup date on May 22.
Those dates will follow the launch of a new crew to the space station. The three-person crew including American Joe Acaba is scheduled to launch from Kazakhstan aboard a Russian Soyuz spacecraft late May 14 Eastern time and dock at the station early May 17.
