SpaceX to launch Starlink satellites on Falcon 9 rocket from the Kennedy Space Center
Update 12:46 a.m. EST (0546 UTC): SpaceX scrubbed the Tuesday morning launch attempt and is pushing to Tuesday night.
SpaceX is looking to complete its second launch within 24 hours with the flight of the Starlink 6-76 mission from NASA’s Kennedy Space Center.
The Falcon 9 rocket is expected to liftoff from Launch Complex 39A (LC-39A) on Tuesday, Nov. 26 at 10:05 p.m. EST (0305 UTC on Nov. 27). The rocket will fly in a south-easterly trajectory once it leaves the pad.
Spaceflight Now will have live coverage beginning about an hour prior to liftoff.
As was the case with the Starlink 12-1 mission Monday morning, the Monday night launch is also expected to include pristine weather conditions. The 45th Weather Squadron forecast a greater than 95 percent chance of good liftoff weather with no concerns being tracked.
The Falcon 9 first stage booster supporting this mission, B1078 in the SpaceX fleet, will launch for a 15th time. It previously supported the launches of Crew-6, USSF-124 and 10 previous Starlink missions.
A little more than eight minutes after launch, B1078 will land on the SpaceX droneship, ‘A Shortfall of Gravitas.’ If successful, this will be the 87th booster landing for ASOG and the 375th booster landing to date.

SpaceX launches Starlink satellites on 400th successful Falcon 9 flight
A Falcon 9 rocket carrying 24 of the company's Starlink satellites lifted off from NASA's Kennedy Space Center in Florida on Tuesday (Nov. 26) at 11:41 p.m. EST (0441 GMT on Wednesday, Nov. 27).
The satellites were deployed into low Earth orbit about 65 minutes later as planned. It was the 400th successful mission for the workhorse rocket, which debuted in 2010, SpaceX announced via X on Wednesday (Nov. 27).
It was the 375th landing for a Falcon first stage overall, SpaceX said via X, and the 15th for this particular booster, according to a company mission description. Eleven of its 15 flights to date have been Starlink missions.
SpaceX has now launched 117 Falcon 9 missions so far in 2024, and 81 of them have been devoted to building out the Starlink network. Five of those Starlink flights have occurred in the past eight days.
The Starlink megaconstellation — the biggest ever assembled — currently consists of nearly 6,700 active spacecraft, according to satellite tracker and astrophysicist Jonathan McDowell.
