Von unseren finnischen Kollegen bekamen wir diese Nachricht von einer möglichen Aufnahme von einem Kugelblitz welche über Finnland bei Gewitteraufnahmen gemacht werden konnte:

Ball lightning in _Finland?

After 1 o’clock AM on Saturday,  June 8th 2019, Ms.Hilkka Typpö from Borgå in southern Finland went out to her balcony to watch the thunderstorm.

Suddenly she noticed a ball- like flash which seemed to come from a different place than the approaching thunderstorm (from behind).

After a while she could see also two other balls of fire.

Typpö succeeded in taking a video with her mobile of one of the balls.

Typpö tells: “ It looked very strange because the ball kind of disintegrated.

After I took the video there was kind of  a crackling noise  in the parking lot like the ball had hit something and there was a smell of sulphur. The ball was abt. 200-300 meters from us.”
